Where they differ
- Price — For iPhone 16, BiMPY starts at £5 and includes theft. AppleCare+ starts at £6.49 for damage-only (theft not included).
- Theft and loss — BiMPY Full Cover starts from £6 and includes theft & loss. AppleCare+ doesn’t cover theft at all unless you pay for the more expensive plan.
- Repairs — AppleCare+ repairs are done directly by Apple. BiMPY uses trusted UK repair partners, including Apple — quick, convenient, and often local.
- Number of claims — AppleCare+ & BiMPY both allow unlimited damage claims and a maximum of 2 theft/loss claims per year.

- BiMPY Essential (£5/month) → Unlimited accidental claims + up to 2 theft claims.
- AppleCare+ (£6.49/month) → Accidental damage only, no theft.
- BiMPY Full (£6/month) → Unlimited accidental claims + up to 2 theft/loss claims.
- AppleCare+ with Theft & Loss (£9.49/month) → Accidental damage + theft/loss, but higher service fees.
Which one makes sense for you?
Pick AppleCare+ if you only want Apple to repair your phone and don’t mind paying more for their service fees.
Pick BiMPY if you want theft included at a lower monthly price, rolling cover you can cancel anytime, or need loss protection without the higher AppleCare+ cost.
