Where they differ
- Price — BiMPY starts at £6/month (includes theft). O2 Insure starts at ~£12 for damage-only, or ~£15 for full cover.
- Flexibility — BiMPY is rolling 30-day cover, cancel anytime. O2 is tied to your O2 account and monthly bill.
- Theft and loss — BiMPY Essential includes theft; Full adds loss. O2 only includes both on the higher-priced Full Cover plan.
- Claim limits — BiMPY offers unlimited accidental damage claims + up to 2 theft/loss claims per year. O2 caps both damage and theft/loss claims.
- Excess fees — BiMPY uses one clear excess. O2 may charge an extra “early claim fee” if you claim in the first few months.
